Transport accessibility
Poznań is located in the center of Europe. There are several ways one can reach the city with different means of transport.
By plane
At the Poznań Ławica Airport there are regular direct flights from many European cities - see destinations map here. Passenger terminal receives 1.2 million passengers annually and conforms to the highest international standards; the cargo terminal guarantees full capacity.
By car
Poznań is located at the crossroads of important international routes: E-30 - Berlin-Warsaw-Moscow and E-261 - Gdańsk-Wrocław-Prague there are 67 border car checkpoints available in Poland: 18 on the western, 32 on the southern and 17 on the eastern border.
By rail
Poznań has direct train connections with major European cities, such as Brussels, Berlin, Kiev, Moscow, Brno. There are also many convenient connections with Hamburg, Cologne, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest, Vilnius.
By coach
Poznań has direct connections to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Hamburg, Prague and Rome.
